The semester, that is - only one more left and then law school, too, will be fin!
(No idea why I feel compelled to put "done" in French.)
I'm still wallowing in post-exams doldrums, where I'm boring the hell out of myself but refuse actually to accomplish ANYTHING, even those things I would like to do. There are a bunch of e-mails I need to send, I need to run to Target and the grocery store, the apartment is a pigsty, and I REALLY need to scrub the tub. I have to call up and harass some past medical providers for records. Even if we just stuck to fun things, I could knit, or bake, or write my Christmas cards. Instead, I'm sitting on the couch in my PJs like a zombie.
Ooh, look, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is on my DVR! Okay, I think I can pursue sloth a little longer...
Fin is so much more final than "done." In my files on my computer, I have two versions of finished works: "done" when I'm finished and fin when the editor tells me I'm finished.
Congrats! And Zombie PJ time should totally win. You just finished a semester; you deserve at least a day of zombie time.
