If I come into your oh-so-classy
broom closet store at the mall, and I tell you that I'm looking for an opaque, hard (NOT silicone) case for my NEW IPHONE!!!! (what? I'm excited!), in a color that's not black? Do NOT argue with me about what I actually want. If you don't have anything that meets those criteria, just tell me. If you'd like to politely suggest an alternative among what you have in stock, that's fine. But when I've just said (for the third time) that I want something OPAQUE, I do NOT want something translucent, do not argue with me and keep showing me translucent cases that you seem to believe are somehow different from the translucent I just. told. you. I didn't want.
I mean, I get it that you have in stock what you have in stock, and that you want to make a sale, and so are going to push what you have in stock. But when I'm looking for something quite specific and you don't have it? Don't get mad at ME for not wanting what you have in stock. Because you've just guaranteed I'm never shopping at your store again.
(who is actually in a very good mood from playing with said NEW IPHONE!!!, but I really hate salespeople who try to bully you into doing something only because it makes THEM money.)
