Evidence:
- It was the first day of class of the spring semester.
- When I got up to shower at 4:45 am, there was no snow on the ground. When I got out of the shower, we could no longer see the downtown skyline out of our windows for the white stuff blowing around. The weather people had predicted "a dusting" of snow; it turns out, we got about 5 inches in 4-5 hours.
- I got up to shower at 4:45 am!
- Because of the snow, it took me 3 hours to drive 30 miles.
- I am a big fan of breakfast, but I had just a small snack before I left, because I was supposed to go to a breakfast meeting at 8 am. Instead, I walked into my 9 am class 20 minutes late, starving.
- This one's a little TMI (sorry), but the chicken-chorizo chili I ate for lunch VIOLENTLY disagreed with me and I spent an intensely unpleasant half hour in the bathroom as it worked its way out of my system. There were about 5 minutes in there when I seriously wondered if I would make it out of the damn law school bathroom alive.
- And because of #6, I was late to my afternoon class - such a good way to start the semester. Which also meant that I had to sit in the only empty seat I could find, which is now my seat for the rest of the semester.
Can I just go back to bed now??
omg...#6 is probably tmi but I have so been there. I feel for you. at least it's over now.
