I think this is a sign I've made the right decision

I just got back from (what was really a quite lovely) class, to find an e-mail reminding me that book orders for fall were due [at some upcoming date].

And I was filled with glee at the thought that IT DIDN'T APPLY TO ME.

(Technical note: while stuck in the Detroit airport, I futzed with my blogroll, trying to clear it out/update it a little. If you think you should be there and you're not, feel free to drop me a line. Also, tell me what you think about the new template!)

(ETA: I should note that I do still like the original header picture, VERY much, which a very kind blogger made for me - but I was just feeling like a change. Maybe I'll go back to the other one when I'm a Real Lawyer with Real Leather Books [which are all entitled LAW...].)

I actually like both - but the lockers are a cool "back to school" motif that resonantes with where you are right now!

Did you go to Fuddrucker's in DTW? That's the only cool thing about that airport. And the Chili's in Terminal A....

I'm hungry in case you hadn't guessed.... :)

O, don't rub it in about book orders. I'm going to completely miss the deadlines for my fall adoptions (May 15th?) because I saw a few books at the conference which might be right but I'd like a little more time to compare and consider.

I like the new template but I liked the old one, too. Either one's good for me!

Can I please be on your blogroll? :)

    I like the new template.

Since I've developed a repertoire of courses, I no longer have the problem of turning in book orders on time. Now my problem is making a dozen changes depending on my mood and whim.

B* - yes, yes, of course! I KNEW I'd forgotten something! (I took off your old blog but forgot to add the new photo-based one - which I read faithfully!)

    Wait a second...

You're going to law school just so you don't have to change your blog pseudonym, aren't you....

    Seems kind of drastic, NK.

(I really like the new template!)

I mostly read through a feed, as you know, but if I comment then I do have to come through so I see the template then; therefore I voted. I liked the old one, but I like this one a lot also, and change is nice once in a while (says someone with a REALLY BORING blog look who clearly knows nothing about aesthetics).

very nice. i mostly read through RSS and only click over to make a comment though.

It's all about perception. You need to move forward. Design your locker room!

I stop by now and then, normally lurking. So, you can add me if you feel like it but it isn't necessary (wow, I'm feeling non-committal tonight).

And I liked the old template but the new one feels fresh, like you're making a change (which you are)

In the law schools I have seen, the lockers are fancy hardwood (or pretending to be), not old-school metal. :)

I commented on the poll, but I like this one!
