Thank you so much to everyone for all your good wishes.
My father passed away this morning, from complications of Parkinson's Disease.
I didn't get to see him, but at least I can remember him as he was, rather than in his miserable last days.
Requiescat in pace.

New Kid, I am so, sorry. Having just lost my father-in-law and seeing my BH's grief at losing his father, I can especially sympathize with you.
