Mantras

  • I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.
I learn by going where I have to go.
    --Theodore Roethke
  • Freedom is what you do with what's been done to you.
    -- Jean-Paul Sartre
  • I'm Nobody! Who are you?
    Are you—Nobody—Too?
Then there's a pair of us!
    Don't tell! they'd advertise—you know!

    How dreary—to be—Somebody!
    How public—like a Frog—
To tell one's name—the livelong June—
    To an admiring Bog!
    --Emily Dickinson

Yay! Welcome back! :) We missed you!

Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! *throws hat in air* Three cheers for NK being home again on the blog!

Glad you are back! You were indeed missed.

YAYYY! I was just talking about you yesterday with the BF, and worrying about how things were going. I'm so so glad you're back.

Oh, thank goodness! I was afraid you weren't coming back to us. So glad to have you back!! (And I walk around composing posts in my head, too, even if I don't get around to actually posting them.)

I'm so happy you're back! I've been waiting patiently and hoping you didn't give it up for too long. Yay for writing again though - I missed you! :)

Oh, I'm so GLAD!! Welcome back! And yes, yes, it's so true, composing blog posts in your head makes you feel like you're thinking...You just described what I'd been feeling, without my even really ever recognizing it.

OH YAY! New Kid is back in town! You were missed.

It's great to have you back!

I agree that blogging and the active planning of writing (not that I often do it) is intertwined with productive thought. It's like a little prompt and even the mundane gets that prompt of beginning to describe it and consider it and turn it around, and like you said, think about it.

    Hot dang, she's back!!!! yay!

Thanks for thinking of your public and returning to us-- you were missed! Don't go away again any time soon.

    Great to have you back!

    YAY! She's back!!!!

Ahhh so this is what the flip side looks like. :)
    Glad you're back.

(but I still write blog posts in my head... hope it goes away soon!)

    1) I'm glad you're back! I kept checking and now here you are - yay!
    2) I'm glad other people do that writing blogs in their head thing, because I was worrying myself.

    Welcome back.

When I started blogging, I found that blogging didn't increase the amount of time I spent on the internet, it just focused it to something other than random surfing.

    Yay! I'm so glad you're back....We missed you! :)

    Yeah! You are back!

Just a note to say how glad I am that you are back. You were really really missed. Yours is the first blog I've read regularily, and I really enjoy it. I go to all my other blogs from your page....so when you went on hiatus I kinda did too!
